JAZDA …

… began as

a youth exchange, bringing together young adults from France, Germany, Poland and other countries in several international meetings.

… is a

practical and sensitive exploration of the concepts of borders, migration and identities.

… stands for

travel to neighboring European countries, getting to know different cultures, understanding historical contexts, learning languages, experiencing community.

… literally translates

from Polish as “the journey”, but is also used in the sense of “Let’s go!” – in keeping with our élan

… is a joint

project of the Friedland Museum, FIEF, Fundacja Krzyżowa and IB West Freiwilligendienste GmbH and thus connects the regions of Southern Lower Saxony, Drôme provencale and Lower Silesia.

… continues to

grow: over 100 people are already part of JAZDA as alumni, organizers, local partners and participants.

>>For me, this project is really interesting because it allows me to discover new things on the topic of migration. It is also really nice to discover people from other countries and to learn a bit of new languages.<<
